I can’t remember the first time I heard about dry shampoo, but I couldn’t wrap my mind around the concept of not using water.  And how a spray can get rid of oils.  But after reading that it does work, I would try anything to save me time in the hair department.  Why wouldn’t I want to buy some time in between hair appointments, right?

Just when I thought I was going to leave Chase Bank, Rahiel shares a link with me that possibly changed my life.  No I’m kidding, but when I found out that I could take a picture of a check on my iPhone through my Chase application, and deposit directly in my checking account in a matter of seconds without ever leaving the house, I had to give it a chance.  I couldn’t believe this could be my opportunity to never have to visit the bank again!

I found this Gourmet Lip Gloss ($17) in the gift bag from the Beauty Rebellion Project launch party! Don’t you love when there are products in a goodie bag that you can use? I pulled it out and wasn’t sure how it would turn out. The apple in the logo kind of threw me off. I was expecting to smell a bakery, or it to have an apple scent with the accompanying sticky feeling.  It was the complete opposite.

This past weekend we  attended the The Beauty Rebellion Launch Party that we were incessantly tweeting, and of course we had an amazing time to say the least (please show them your support for cruelty-free beauty).  We were greeted by these fabulous promo girls who handed us one of the best drinks I’ve tried in a long time–Neuro!

I have my eyebrows waxed by a professional for the past 10 years.  I started with a bikini wax and have graduated to full brazilian for a year now.  Up until a few months ago I have always shaved my legs, now I use a spray hair remover.  And I usually shave my underarms.  The problem with the underarm area for most women who have dark hair or thick hair is that it leaves that area discolored, even after shaving.

You know those days you wore those shoes you thought twice about but did it anyway and sacrificed comfort for fashion?  Or you broke in new shoes and unexpectedly had to literally RUN errands all day.  Maybe you just had to have those pair of heels that went with that skirt that made your legs look oh so hot!  Whatever the case may be, your feet are aching!  

I think it’s about that time that I write a review on Queen Bee Salon & Spa in Culver City.  I don’t know why I didn’t before but this is THE go-to place for that great bikini or Brazilian wax.  I’ve been a regular at this spot for about a year now, and it’s fantastic.

We were invited to Hudson Jeans After Hours VIP Party at the Colony in Hollywood, which was super fun!  Not to mention free valet, drinks, and cute men.  They also sent us a free pair of Hudson denim.  I chose a skinny pair cause Jennifer Rose loves me in a pair of skinny’s : ) .  I thought, how in the world will I wear skinny jeans in the summer, it’s going to be too hot.

Found this one by way of twitter! Don’t you just love Follow Fridays?  I contacted Sarah from Nuts About Granola and she sent over two single bags of Plain Jane Peanut Butter Granola.  I opened the envelope and smelled the granola through the little plastic bags.

Zikmu by Parrot by Stark wireless HI-FI speakers immediately caught my attention while perusing blogs a while back, thus I decided to reach out to see if the hype (as in 360 degree sound) backed up its beautiful aesthetic.  And of course, it did.  Although these are $1,600 speakers, they’re well worth it.  Well at least for $1,000.
