MAYBELLINE UNDEFINE-A-LINE
Okay, so I love eyeliner just as much as Rahiel does, but I was using a brush and black eyeshadow for a long time. For some reason, I just stopped using a pencil. I started using the gel eyeliner by L’Oreal HiP, but it got dried out, and you can’t really put that on your lower lash line. It ends up looking way too strong. And I realized that my eye shadow line was fading by the end of the day and it looked like I hadn’t gotten sleep in days. Not a good look. So, while I was at CVS, I decided to pick up a new eyeliner pencil. Not a big fan of liquid, so it had to be pencil.
I purchased the Maybelline Define-A-Line ($5.99) in soft black, because I’m a huge fan of Maybelline’s Great Lash and the Clear Mascara for Lash And Brow. I really liked that the packaging was green, and it seemed like it would give me a strong line without overdoing it. Well, I’m not feeling it. First of all, the cap pops off 
easily, and because it’s one of those pencils you roll up like a lip balm, it’s flat at the top, which I don’t like at all. It will give you either a fat line or a rigid line. I like the creamy texture of the liner, but it’s just not ideal. I need to go back to the old school pencil you sharpen yourself. Any suggestions?

Pros: nice creamy texture, bold, good price
Cons: Not easy to apply, produces a fat or rigid line, the cap doesn’t stay secured
UPDATE: I used it again with the smudger this time, and OMG I love it now. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. So I advise to get the look in the picture above, you MUST use the smudger, not by itself. I guess that’s why it’s there huh!?

My old standby is Maybelline Expert Eyes. I use it as an eyeliner, and to touch up my brows. I’m a fan. I only use Maybelline mascara too. Ive tried others and they just don’t compare.
I purchased this while I was in LA with you and I wasn’t a fan either. I use Stila coal eye liner. Its soft, not harsh and even comes with a smudging tool and coordinating eye shadow/highlighter. I love it…
hmm I don’t remember when you got it Tia! But I’ll def give Stila a shot.
Eyeliner is actually one of the products I splurge on, I love the one by two faced, they sell it at sephora.

I am addicted to urban decay (pick a color, any color… Mildew, zero and the purple one (ameythst?) are my favs. I haven’t found a drug store eyeliner yet that could stay on me… Urban decay made it through a 12 hr mcdonalds shift, so I considered it worth $17 (cheaper on ebay). I did have to wipe it once from under my eyes (within the 1st hr) but after that, I was good the rest of my shift. Now if only my hair would copy it
