FRENCH MACARONS FOR STARBUCKS, MMM

I walked into my local Starbucks and could not resist! I saw them just sitting there in the cooler right next to the register, calling my name. Seeing that there were only two boxes, I asked the barista if they have more in the back. He told me they just received two boxes of the Chateau Blanc Macaroons made exclusively for Starbucks.

So I did what any sweet tooth, spoiled girl would do, and snatched a box immediately! I was hesitant because of the price, $9.95. I could not wait to try, for the first time, the mini, colorful, desserts that I have heard so much about.

They come in 6 lovely flavors, chocolate, coffee, raspberry, vanilla, pistachio, and lemon. Fondant filled crip yet chewy cakes made with almonds. Non of them are overly sweet, they taste just right. Fun to look at and more fun to eat! Per usual, I can’t pick a favorite.

Pros: small, taste, a variety of flavors

OMG! I saw the Macaroons at Starbucks and hesitated because of the price. I shouldn’t of if you like them. I am such a big fan of french macaroons. Elegant and tasty. (and I am a dessert, girl. Hands down!) There is a teeny place in NYC called Something Sweet that has the best macaroons. My guy and me call the owner,Mama, because she is so maternal. And she likes to share the goodies! Too sweet.
