PROJECT PROM
Spoiled Little LA Girls is sponsoring PROJECT PROM. We’re calling all you fashionistas and stylistas to send donations of any items such as dresses (sizes 0-24), accessories, shoes, handbags, hosiery, etc. so that 60 girls within the foster care system can look amazing at prom! This is a very important project to us. Please read below for more background.
The Living Room Ministry of North Hollywood have partnered with the Department of Child and Family Services to put together a pre-prom/debutant party for girls in the foster care system. These 60 junior/senior girls do not have the resources to prepare for their prom or won’t go at all for one reason or another. These are girls who have not been adopted, been in multiple homes, and in a few years will age out of the system.
For some/most of them, this event maybe the only platform presented where they are the honored guests, the stars of the show, where they are each treated like royalty… like the princesses they are. We are calling the organization of this event, PROJECT PROM.
The event will be held on May 15th, between 1pm-5pm, at Hope Chapel of North Hollywood. During this time, the girls will be matched up to a personal stylist to go through the racks of dresses, shoes, purses, and other accessories in order to obtain their prom look. All of these mentioned items will come from donations alone. Along with getting “outfitted” for the prom, each girl will also get their hair and make-up done by professionals/volunteers. These professionals/volunteers will be donating their time and talent. Everyone involved in this event will be serving as stand-in “parents/older sisters and brothers” helping each girl get “ready” for the prom.
We’re looking for donations of any items such as dresses (sizes 0-24), accessories, shoes, handbags, hosiery, etc. After these girls are “princessified!”, we will have an official presentation of each girl… like a debutant ceremony where they are individually honored.
The Department of Child and Family Services would recognize, in an official way, any participating business. ALL donations of any kind, from individuals or businesses, are tax deductible. Checks can be made out to “DCFS”, the Department of Children and Family Services of Los Angeles County.
Thanks for any consideration regarding PROJECT PROM.

I think this is a must have.
great cause! can’t wait to help.
I really wish I could have helped. This is an amazing opportunity to stop thinking about ourselves and think about others… Hopefully this is an annual event for SLLG! I will most DEF donate anything I can next year!
Girl it was amazing! It really touched the girls. They were happy and they had fun. We felt like little moms, and they felt really special. I know you have fab dresses and accessories! So we’ll let you know next year. :0)
