Chocolate chip cookies are tricky.   But what makes the perfect cookie?  Some are soft and chewy while others are a little crunchy or firm.  I personally love a moist cookie so when I passed by Charmingly Chewy in a Trader Joes I had to throw them in the cart.

I got home, put all the groceries away and grabbed the box.  I was a little disappointed when I opened the box.  They were pretty small.  I took about five thinking that I would inhale them very quickly.  I was wrong!  I had one left over.  In my world that’s a big deal.  These are not the type of cookies I can eat a whole lot of.  Something about them made me want to stop.  I just couldn’t eat more than four at a time.

The cookies are small (same size as on the cover of the box), but they aren’t thin at all.  They are kind of plump in the center.  But I have to say they are chewy! And guess what else?  They are made with no preservatives, color, or artificial flavors.  It’s also on the Trader Joe’s Kosher list.

Pros: Moist, true to size, kosher
Cons: Can’t eat more than four
