IN MY HONEST OPINION
Did you know Jessica Alba’s The Honest Company makes products for us grown ups too? I didn’t – I thought it was just for babies. When they sent us info, I requested samples for this review not thinking it was the same company that makes the baby products. It really shouldn’t matter since we use baby oil, powder, and wipes all the time right? But I don’t necessarily want to smell like a new born.
The Honest Body Oil ($9.95) is hands down one of my top 20 beauty products. The first thing I love about The Body Oil is the scent: coconut blossom, which is a warm, citrus-y smell. No sign of baby over here! The second is how it leaves my usually dry skin feeling so smooth. Even when I apply it in the evening, my skin is still soft when I wake up in the morning; not to mention, it’s made with sustainably grown & certified organic olive oil, jojoba oil, tamanu oil, and sunflower oil. This product is certified cruelty free & vegan.
An added bonus is the pull-to-open and push-to-close bottle top. And speaking of the packaging, The Honest Company uses 100% renewable and/or recycled materials in all its products, packaging, and shipping materials. While this is great for both baby and mommy, I (single girl) rub it on my legs before a night out so that maybe then I can catch a man to marry and finally make a baby of my own!
Pros: Scent, gives me soft skin, price, packaging
