Sofiyani LA Headpiece JUST LIKE A PRINCESS

We regrettably had to miss a recent Sofiyani L.A. trunk show.  But because we love their pieces so much, I asked to do a review.  They sent me the Genevieve headpiece just in time for the 4th of July!  As I planned my outfits I knew the head piece had to be worked in, some way, some how.

The Genevieve headpiece is made with three strands of Swarvoski crystals and two brass chains.  So you already know the shine factor is on 10!  The Swarovski chain down the center is slightly larger than the other two.  I did have to arrange the strands carefully so that I didn’t look lopsided.  The one thing I had a problem with was it moving or falling off when I looked down.  If you have any tips on how to keep it on, leave a comment below!  I must point out the price – $56 is an amazing price!  Especially when you compare it to the $100+ I’ve seen on other sites for comparable headpieces.

When I opened the gift box I really didn’t know what to expect.  I was very happy to see that it was sparkly and luxe, because I see a lot of headpieces that have an antique finish – which is not the look I was going for.  I decided to pair it with my royal blue (with gold buttons) Ali Ro jumper during the day for a family BBQ.  When both of my parents called me a princess, I didn’t object!  For round two, in the evening, I wore the head piece with a dark red, deep v-neck Stylemint top to our little jewel box – the London Hotel rooftop.  The boys were throwing compliments my way all night.

Pros: Swarovski crystals, price, dainty, and luxe
Cons: Slips off if I look down
